The Nissan Maxima is manufactured by Nissan in a line of upper mid-size executive and sports sedans. The Maxima debuted in 1976 as an upscale version of the Bluebird and was spun off into its own line in 1980, and hass been made continuously since then. Most pre-2004 Maximas were built in Oppama, Japan, until the current North American Maximas started being assembled in Smyrna, Tennessee. The Maxima models are also known as Nissan Cefiro or Nissan Laurel in various markets. The latest generation Maxima, code-named A34, shares its platform with the third generation Nissan Altima, in addition to several other Nissan models, and this Maxima is only sold in the United States, Canada and Mexico. In the US, it comes with the venerable VQ35DE, a DOHC V6 engine that now produces 265 hp (198 kW).

Also, with the descent into fleet-only sales across North America, the LX Premium Sport and Handling Package and the Handling and Performance Package have been officially discontinued by Ford.
For 2009, Ford narrowed the available Crown Victorias in North America by one more model. The Standard (P73) model designation has gone by the way side, in favor of the LX. To make the LX more appealing to future buyers (those who buy the cars after their service in rental fleets) it now uses the 5-spoke alloy wheels once used specifically for the LX Premium Sport and Handling package.
These wheels are used in favor of the 9-spoke alloy wheel design the LX has used since 2003, purportedly due to the Lincoln Town Car using 17" wheels standard, as well as the Police Interceptor and the Taxi (P72) model.

The basic Chrysler 300 (or 300C in some countries) comes with standard 17-inch Rims with wheel covers, four-wheel disc brakes, traction control, and a four-speed automatic transmission. It has a 2.7 L (2736 cc, 167 cu in) EER V6 making 190 hp (142 kW). In Canada, it comes standard with the Touring model's 3.5 L (3518 cc, 214.7 cu in) V6 engine.
